  • Mental Health in schools have been viewed from only two perspectives:
mental well-being or psychopathology. The Dual-Factor Model challenges this by taking
a more dimensional approach that views students within four quadrants, providing a
more accurate and targeted approach to working with students that expands the power
of the MTSS framework. Using focused screenings and assessments, staff will
understand how they can better structure appropriate interventions for individual
students. Dr. Doll will be sharing how to use Classroom Maps Surveys which captures
students' perspectives of classroom environments that can be used to plan and
    implement classwide interventions.
