Introduced legislation in NJ State Senate to clarify and upgrade criteria for determining SLD in children. This bill is a companion to the one already introduced in the NJ State Assembly
Advanced NJASP plans to provide ongoing training re criteria for determining children’s functioning with respect to SLD. Presenters to include representatives of national and allied professions as well as NJ school psychs. Rollout anticipated Sep/Oct
Present as Observer at statewide sessions of State Special Education Advisory Council (SSEAC) and State Board of Education (SBOE)
SEL4NJ: NJASP representatives are active participants in coordinating SEL training and activities in local school districts and with allied constituencies
Latino Mental Health Ass of NJ: continue planning to mutually attend conferences and to work with Exec Boards
